Stagey elements such as backdrops, controlled lighting and 'things that stand
in for other things' are utilised to suggest the ephemeral and flimsy
structures that support our world. Discrete islands of shiny kitsch
pearlescence operate at the level of play and whimsy with an empty potential
never quite reached.
